Base Salary
$112k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain highly available and scalable web application infrastructure on AWS.
- Support application teams with deployments from beginning to end.
- Architect solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Route 53.
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules for AWS resources.
- Configure and optimize Application Load Balancers and Network Load Balancers.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve AWS networking, web service, and application performance issues.
- Build and maintain AWS CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using AWS-native tools.
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and support rapid automated response.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and security through automation and new AWS services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide advanced technical support for critical production systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Expertise with AWS foundation services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Extensive hands-on experience writing and maintaining complex Terraform configurations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and route tables.
- Experience configuring and managing Application Load Balancers and Network Load Balancers.
- Strong understanding of web services architecture, deployment, and operational best practices.
- Experience building and maintaining AWS CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed, cloud-based environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages are a plus.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator are preferred.
- Experience with OpenShift, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, or Dynatrace is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
