Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the internal VB.NET WinForms desktop billing workflow application.
Write and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
Develop new features, system enhancements, and performance optimizations during the platform modernization effort.
Contribute to migration toward an ASP.NET Core and Blazor web-based architecture under senior engineering guidance.
Write and maintain automated unit, functional, and regression tests and increase test coverage.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards, style guidelines, and code-audit procedures.
Collaborate with BI, Analyst, Processing, and Submission stakeholders to translate billing requirements into technical solutions.
Support technical design discussions for the current platform and its future architecture.
Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Fluent English communication skills at C1 level or equivalent.
3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Hands-on experience with VB.NET and .NET Framework.
Hands-on T-SQL and SQL Server experience, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and SQL Server Agent scheduling.
Experience developing and maintaining WinForms desktop applications, including MDI architecture.
Experience writing and maintaining automated tests in a .NET environment.
Ability to design, estimate, and deliver software solutions from business requirements.
Preferred experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework Core, Angular, Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube, and Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.
Knowledge of financial systems, financial processes, and billing or invoicing terminology is highly desirable.
Willingness to grow technical ownership with mentorship and guidance from senior engineers.
