Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, optimize, and support high-concurrency, highly available, low-latency ad delivery systems.
- Architect and implement scalable infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications and optimize cloud performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop software end to end, support releases and updates, and maintain software functionality.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and global engineering, product, and operations teams on requirements, integrations, and technical designs.
- Create software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical documentation, manuals, and recommendations.
- Provide technical leadership, defend architectural decisions, and mentor junior software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above is stated in the job description; the posting also says coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may be considered.

- Proficiency in C++ or Golang and network programming.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix, data structures and algorithms, distributed architecture, and large-scale software design.
- Experience with cloud, containerization, distributed systems, mission-critical systems, and large-scale online service design, development, and operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with middleware such as caching systems, message queues, and Nginx.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, technical innovation, communication, collaboration, and technical-support abilities.
- Advertising industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with global teams and accommodate additional working time for meetings or collaboration is required.
