Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Python cloud-native microservices supporting AI foundation models and agentic workflows at scale.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Azure AKS, IAM, Redis, and messaging systems.
- Apply infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and improve production readiness.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and program managers on technical designs and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of professional machine-learning delivery experience, including backend, distributed systems, AI, machine-learning, or computer-vision development.
- Additional experience may qualify candidates for mid- or senior-level placement.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, backend services, containerization technologies such as Docker, Azure cloud services, scalable distributed backend systems, or geospatial workflows is preferred.
- Must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required; TS/SCI is preferred but not required.
- U.S. citizenship is required for the government contract.
