Responsibilities
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented full-stack software using Node.js and React.
- Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and support deployed software applications and live services.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, project discussions, and requirements communication.
- Contribute to incident root-cause analysis and improvements in application security, maintenance, resilience, and reliability.
- Apply DevOps principles, test automation, programming tools, performance checks, and debugging practices.
- Use traditional and agile practices to plan, prioritize, and deliver work, escalating impediments as needed.
- Lead small technical initiatives and solve more complex problems using efficient algorithms and logical analysis.
- Share knowledge with early-career engineers and collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Full-stack development experience with Node.js and React.
- Experience with GCP Compute, Google Cloud Platform, GKE, Kubernetes, and Istio.
- Experience with API gateways and management platforms such as IBM API Connect and Apigee.
- Ability to write reliable, efficient, and well-documented code with increasing independence.
- Understanding of the team application domain, its technology, application custodianship, and live-service support.
- Ability to apply test automation, debugging, agile practices, critical thinking, and standard release guidelines.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and terminology and ability to follow established guidelines for using AI tools.
