Responsibilities
- Act as the technical owner for core Compliance and Legal applications.
- Design, implement, and operate scalable systems and workflows for regulatory compliance.
- Apply strong engineering judgment focusing on security and reliability.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of compliance and legal technology platforms.
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation for operational excellence.
- Design and build scalable automation tools and AI-enabled solutions.
- Architect and implement integrations using REST APIs.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Security, and external vendors.
- Mentor fellow engineers and improve code quality and documentation.
- Navigate ambiguity and clarify roadmap priorities for Compliance and Legal systems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Compliance and Legal environments.
- Proven Staff-level experience owning complex systems.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages like Python or Go.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP.
- Management experience with SaaS and On-prem applications.
- Proficient in REST APIs and scripting for automations.
- Familiarity with compliance platforms like Global Relay.
- Experience with M&A system integrations in financial services.
- Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.
