Base Salary
$220k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, and delivery of major initiatives across the platform.
- Lead architecture and design reviews, influencing technical decisions.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and design documentation.
- Build and improve AI-coding tooling to enhance software development.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians and scientists to understand their needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Production experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience shipping software to end users and understanding user needs.
- Previous leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers.
- Background in fast-paced startup environments.
- Familiarity with technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and Terraform.
