Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines across the company’s ecosystem.
- Perform data modeling and schema design using DDL and DML operations for performance and scalability.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform-based infrastructure automation.
- Build feature stores and automated MLOps pipelines with Data Science and AI teams.
- Monitor and maintain containerized and orchestrated environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow.
- Advise stakeholders by translating data architecture concepts into clear business guidance.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production-grade data systems.
- Deep expertise in data architecture, modern data stack components, and scalable schema design.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure management and deployment.
- Strong background in automated testing, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices.
- Expert-level SQL skills, particularly with MySQL, including complex query optimization.
- Experience with Python, AWS S3, Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, Snowflake, Apache Spark, and DBT is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
