Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable, performant, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding and unit testing practices to improve software security, readability, reliability, and design.
- Guide technical direction, lead collaborative multi-year assignments, and coach less experienced specialists.
- Advise stakeholders, manage risks and controls, and contribute to strategic and cross-functional business objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in software engineering and the ability to act as a subject matter expert within the discipline.
- Ability to create solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking, compare complex alternatives, and conduct in-depth analysis.
- Ability to lead complex assignments, guide team members, and influence technical and strategic decisions.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders using influencing and negotiating skills.
