Responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and delivery of secure, stable, scalable solutions.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including correctness, performance, secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Develop and maintain production code and algorithms that integrate synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering outcomes.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures knowledge.
- Strong practical experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Practical knowledge of Jenkins, source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket, and software delivery automation.
- Experience designing and implementing data models for relational databases and working with MS SQL Server.
- Experience working on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience with Python or Golang, React, Node.js, Identity and Access Management, AWS S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, Lambda, cloud and container-based development, Gaia, and Kubernetes.
