Software Engineer — Product

Responsibilities
- Build, ship, and maintain high-quality product features across front-end interfaces and supporting services.
- Build abstractions and tools that enable safe use of agent workflows by operations teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement product solutions.
- Contribute to cross-stack architecture decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, and clean code.
- Drive accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility practices.
- Design and build APIs and services when features require back-end support.
- Participate in code reviews and improve codebase quality.
- Identify technical challenges and improve the product engineering ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and production issues across the stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong React and TypeScript expertise.
- Solid full-stack or front-end fundamentals, including HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or React Context API.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, with back-end fluency in Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience with responsive design, adaptive design, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in a product environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to cross-functional partners.
- Ability to prototype and iterate quickly on sophisticated user workflows and make scoped technical decisions independently.
- Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team environment.
- Preferred experience includes design systems, reusable component libraries, server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js, web performance optimization, developer tools, data-heavy products, and end-to-end feature ownership.
