Responsibilities

  • Manage real-time data flows, transformations, and schemas between Agentforce agents and enterprise systems.
  • Design and maintain RAG, vector database, search index, and knowledge base systems for grounding Agentforce solutions.
  • Architect and orchestrate multi-agent systems using Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent Communication.
  • Design scalable and secure integration patterns connecting Agentforce with enterprise applications and AI agents.
  • Evaluate, select, and optimize foundational and frontier LLMs for enterprise AI deployments.
  • Govern structured and unstructured data across Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, and external systems.
  • Build resilient event-driven workflows using message queues and distributed systems concepts.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Develop and maintain REST, SOAP, and webhook APIs for data exchange and action execution.
  • Translate business processes into automated, agent-driven workflows and troubleshoot integration performance and reliability issues.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or integrations, such as Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Data Scientist.
  • High proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages, including Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in AI data integration, RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases.
  • Deep understanding of structured and unstructured data management, ETL/ELT, transformation, and governance.
  • Current knowledge of the LLM landscape, including foundational and frontier model capabilities and enterprise use cases.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, API design and development, REST, SOAP, and webhooks.
  • Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of AI agents, multi-agent systems, and data-triggered actions.
  • Hands-on experience with an enterprise integration platform such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
  • Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, independent-working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time to customer sites as needed.
  • Preferred: Salesforce platform and API experience, Apex, AI or automation project experience, Data Specialist or Data Cloud certifications, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Agile experience.

  • For British Columbia-based roles, the stated base salary hiring range is CAD 154,700 to CAD 310,700.
  • For Ontario-based roles, the stated base salary hiring range is CAD 154,700 to CAD 204,700 annually.
