Responsibilities
- Deploy onsite with strategic customers to map security, risk, and compliance workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort.
- Gather requirements from practitioners and executives and translate customer dependencies into technical solutions.
- Build AI-native solutions using LLMs, ML models, and modern AI tooling.
- Perform data analysis and data science work to quantify risk using measures such as Annualized Loss Expectancy, Value at Risk, and ROI.
- Design and deploy integrations, pipelines, and tools connecting SecurityScorecard with SIEM, GRC, ticketing, data warehouse, and other customer systems.
- Architect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Prototype rapidly and harden solutions into supportable, production-quality software.
- Bridge Product, Engineering, and customers while feeding field patterns into the roadmap.
- Own technical relationships with key accounts through renewal and expansion alongside Customer Success and Sales Engineering.
- Travel to customer sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and go-live support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant customer-facing, forward deployed, or solutions engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building shipped solutions with AI, LLMs, agentic frameworks, or ML models.
- Track record of building AI-powered products or features and a clear perspective on AI in forward deployed work.
- Working data analysis and data science ability, including risk quantification, benchmarking, or exposure modeling.
- Ability to independently ship production code in fast-moving, ambiguous, customer-facing environments.
- Strong full-stack fluency across backend services, APIs, scripting, data pipelines, and integration patterns such as REST, webhooks, SSO/SAML, and SIEM connectors.
- Architecture design experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience conducting discovery with enterprise stakeholders and scoping findings into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical details into business or financial impact.
- Prior cybersecurity, GRC, or risk management experience is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, typically 20–40% depending on account load.
