Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and full-stack applications using ReactJS or Angular.
- Produce clean, secure, efficient, testable code and apply architectural concepts for scalable, highly available solutions.
- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and distributed services supporting reporting and analytics.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, technical decisions, and development workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, business analysts, users, and UI/UX designers.
- Mentor junior developers, coach colleagues, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of development experience in a senior engineering role.
- Strong proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and common design patterns.
- Practical experience with React or Angular, including component architecture, state management, and forms.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservice-based architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and deploying or managing cloud-native applications.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and BigQuery.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, automated build and deployment pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Pub/Sub, event-driven design, Terraform, performance tuning, distributed tracing, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OAuth2, JWT, or IAM is desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, coaching, autonomy, and continuous-learning skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
