Responsibilities
- Develop Java and React components for scalable web applications and microservices-based solutions.
- Design application architecture using microservices principles and established design patterns.
- Develop business-layer code, interfaces, services, API integrations, and stored procedures.
- Write and execute unit tests, resolve defects, and support integration, automation, SIT, UAT, and warranty testing.
- Interpret technical and functional requirements, estimate effort and timelines, and support proof-of-concept development.
- Support component integration, risk identification, traceability, source-control processes, and quality-management standards.
- Implement responsive visual elements from design assets and contribute to application security and data protection.
- Create and maintain user manuals, installation scripts, online documentation, and reusable team knowledge assets.
- Contribute to process optimization, technical improvement, and adoption of evolving cloud, DevOps, and Gen AI practices.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Core Java or Java 8, Spring Boot, object-oriented principles, and application architecture.
- Good experience with React JS and frontend technologies, including translating design assets into responsive interfaces.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, RESTful web services, API design, and API security.
- Good experience with database technologies, API integration, and stored procedures.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and observability practices including monitoring and performance management.
- Understanding of SRE principles, Agile delivery, Jira, and software testing practices including unit testing, code coverage, and UI test scripts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant graduate degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Good experience with Kubernetes and fair knowledge of Apache Kafka are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Gen AI tools such as Claude is advantageous.
