Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, resilient, and real-time backend banking solutions using Java, Spring, Maven, Azure, Prisma, and Kafka.
- Drive test automation, continuous delivery, and deployment using Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Own the refinement, coding, testing, and deployment of work across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Solve technical and functional challenges and contribute to innovative software development practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and business colleagues in an agile working environment.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in backend software development and a strong understanding of test automation, continuous delivery, and deployment tools and pipelines.
- Ability to refine, code, test, and deploy work independently across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and architectural understanding.
- Excellent social and communication skills, including the ability to act as a sparring partner for business colleagues.
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including GitHub Copilot and LLM-based pair coding.
- Strong prompt-engineering skills for generating code, tests, and documentation through AI tools.
- Ability to maintain development flow and improve productivity through AI-enhanced coding practices.
- Lead development experience is a plus.
