Responsibilities
- Perform pre-market checks, intraday production support, and post-market validation for trading strategies, positions, trading limits, and market/trading connectivity.
- Respond to production incidents, investigate trading-path latency anomalies, coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and exchanges, and conduct root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Support strategy and system releases through version and parameter validation, deployment verification, rollback, and authorized emergency production operations.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operations tools for trading-path latency and key runtime metrics.
- Support integration testing and troubleshooting for market-data and trading interfaces, including network, performance, and system-runtime issues.
Requirements
- At least two years of HFT production operations experience, including independent responsibility for strategy deployment, production support, incident handling, and investigation of trading-path latency anomalies.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, financial mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Linux, networking, operating-system fundamentals, market-data and trading connectivity, scripting, and operations-tool maintenance.
- Strong problem analysis, communication, collaboration, and cross-team coordination skills, with the ability to respond quickly under production pressure.
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and risk awareness.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with broker interfaces, exchange rules, market-data connectivity, trading-interface integration, monitoring and alerting, automated deployment, operations tools, Rust, Shell, network performance analysis, TCP/UDP, multicast, FPGA-accelerated trading systems, Claude Code, or Codex.
