Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus and API Management solutions.
- Build enterprise integration services using TIBCO BusinessWorks and TIBCO EMS.
- Analyze requirements, perform gap analysis, document solution options, and prepare technical specifications and effort estimates.
- Develop functional mappings and transformation logic from source and target schemas.
- Analyze, code, test, implement, enhance, and maintain software applications in accordance with the enterprise SDLC.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs, support application business analysts and project teams, and assist with production escalations.
- Develop and oversee system testing plans and verify successful implementation of software, patches, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with interface applications and business units to define requests and make appropriate configuration or parameter changes.
- Provide technical guidance and oversee distributed development team members or less experienced analysts as needed.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area and at least four years of software application development and maintenance experience.
- Five to seven years of experience building enterprise applications.
- Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks 6/10x, TIBCO EMS, and API gateways such as Layer 7 or Apigee.
- Experience with XML/XSD, JSON, REST, SOAP, JMS/EMS, Git, CI/CD, environment configuration, packaging and deployment, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Knowledge of security patterns including mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, estimation, and technical solution-design skills.
- Preferred experience in banking and finance, Okta, SQL scripting, and ServiceNow or another IT ticketing system.
- Knowledge of system life cycle development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience with logging and exception-handling tools such as njams is a plus.
