Responsibilities
- Design technical, integration, development, runtime, and operations architectures.
- Define scalable solutions using SOA patterns, microservices, business process automation, and cloud-based services.
- Design message-driven and event-driven architectures.
- Lead large, complex solution implementations from requirements and goals through go-live.
- Provide technical design and architecture consulting across multiple projects and clients.
- Manage solution risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Own roadmaps for current and future integration technologies.
- Introduce Agile processes to the existing team.
- Influence and guide senior stakeholders on technical solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 4+ years of intensive Java backend development and solution architecture experience.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, API Security, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience working with Java 8 or Java 11.
- Strong hands-on platform delivery and architecture design experience.
- Full understanding of cloud services, AWS, DevOps tools, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong experience with the full software development lifecycle, enterprise-scale Agile delivery, and release management.
- Technical knowledge or delivery experience in legacy platform migration, RESTful APIs, API gateways, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment.
- Node.js knowledge is preferred.
- Strong documentation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
