Responsibilities
- Own and improve wallet backend modules for address management, asset synchronization, transaction construction, broadcasting, confirmation, gas estimation, nonce management, and transaction-state tracking.
- Build transaction and on-chain interaction flows covering transfers, token approvals, contract interactions, cross-chain activity, swaps, DApp connections, and signature requests.
- Research and integrate EVM, Tron, Solana, Layer 2 networks, new public chains, and new asset standards while accounting for chain-specific transaction, signing, fee, confirmation, node, and security differences.
- Improve operational stability through monitoring, alerting, rate limiting, graceful degradation, retries, compensation, reconciliation, and root-cause fixes.
- Drive projects across product, QA, frontend, infrastructure, and backend teams from design through delivery.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, system optimization, documentation, incident retrospectives, and mentoring.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for development tasks while validating their correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Approximately 5–10 years of Java backend experience with strong knowledge of collections, concurrency, thread pools, the JVM, network communication, and performance issues.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, or comparable backend stacks, with the ability to independently design and build medium-to-large modules.
- Experience designing complex or high-concurrency systems involving idempotency, retries, compensation, caching, message queues, distributed locks, consistency, rate limiting, and service degradation.
- Ability to own work end to end, communicate across teams, resolve dependencies and risks, and drive projects through launch.
- Experience with wallets, blockchain, trading platforms, on-chain data services, or related systems; familiarity with addresses, keys, mnemonics, signing, broadcasting, confirmation, gas, nonce, and at least one of EVM, Tron, or Solana.
- Strong awareness of private-key, signing, permission, authentication, tamper-resistance, sensitive-data, least-privilege, replay-protection, duplicate-request, and data-leak risks.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and thread or memory analysis.
- Willingness to use and validate AI coding tools and basic understanding of prompts, context management, RAG, AI agents, and MCP, or willingness to learn.
- Experience integrating public chains, asset standards, cross-chain protocols, WalletConnect, DApp Browser, signature requests, MPC, multisig, hardware wallets, TEE-based security, swaps, staking, bridges, DeFi aggregation, or wallet risk controls is preferred.
- Experience with blockchain nodes, on-chain indexing, RPC calls, block scanning, chain reorganizations, transaction compensation, reconciliation, JVM tuning, or complex production incidents is preferred.
