Base Salary
$165k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software and verification infrastructure for a production-scale metal 3D-printing system.
- Integrate software with motion and control systems in collaboration with automation and controls engineers.
- Develop and maintain additive manufacturing software across manufacturing, production, and engine-design domains.
- Develop production-ready control software and algorithms for printer lasing and control systems.
- Build process-monitoring solutions for data collection and automated analysis.
- Maintain software engineering standards through design, code, and test reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline and 5+ years of software development experience, or 8+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience writing production code in C++.
- Experience with modern continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and a Linux environment.
- Preferred experience with Qt, VTK, Boost, CUDA, and CMake.
- Preferred professional experience with mechatronics, microcontrollers, or FPGA computing hardware.
- Preferred experience with real-time embedded software development, computer geometry, and laser powder bed fusion or similar additive manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with substantial responsibility and accountability for software outcomes.

- Base salary range of $165,000 to $265,000 for Level 3.
