Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop R&D and production software for next-generation radar products.
- Support software system integration on mostly commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
- Support deployed software capabilities used by U.S. and international customers.
- Collaborate across multiple product capabilities and expand expertise across product families.
- Work full-time on-site in the Hawthorne office in Los Angeles, California.
Requirements
- Bachelor ’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Extensive or advanced Python experience and extensive software development experience using Linux.
- Experience with Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Preferred qualifications include radar or other sensor development, radar modes and algorithms, signal processing, target detection and tracking, networks, CUDA, software-defined radios, advanced time synchronization, near-real-time embedded software, git, containers, cloud and virtualization technologies, BIOS and boot security, encryption, visualization, defense architectures and messaging standards, modeling and simulation, production deployment, DevOps or DevSecOps, high-TRL systems, hardware/software integration and test, and additional programming languages such as C++, Rust, NodeJS, Java, and Go.
