Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply the technology used in StarEngine to develop game projects.
  • Work with Creative Directors to advance project visions.
  • Document and peer-review technical designs across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide mentorship, day-to-day management, and career progression support for software engineers.
  • Analyze projects proactively and identify areas for improvement.
  • Help manage projects through release.
  • Explain and present technical solutions to people across disciplines.

Requirements

  • Passion for game development.
  • Proven success completing multiple large AAA titles across multiple platforms.
  • Technical programming background with a history of decision-making roles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a colocated, collaborative team environment.
  • Friendly and approachable communication style with team members at all roles and levels.
  • English proficiency for daily collaboration with international studio teams and participation in English-language meetings.
