Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation.
- Support the reliability, scalability, and performance of development and production environments.
- Improve developer workflows through automation, tooling, and documentation.
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, dashboards, observability, and incident response.
- Partner with software engineers and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve delivery processes.
- Participate in periodic on-call rotations and resolve operational incidents.
- Maintain infrastructure standards, security practices, operational runbooks, and cost-conscious infrastructure usage.
- Support GitOps deployment workflows, cost optimization, security automation, and lightweight scripting as applicable.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles in an enterprise or multi-team environment.
- Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP and containerized or orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or EKS.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code workflows such as Terraform and environment-specific configuration management.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Operational experience with on-call rotations, production incidents, and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with formal ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong focus on service reliability, documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, collaboration, and technical communication.
- Bonus: experience with GitOps and ArgoCD, cost optimization, security-focused automation, secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability or scanning workflows, and scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
