Responsibilities
- Evaluate requirements and proposed solutions for technical feasibility.
- Design and implement system specifications and programming elements.
- Enhance existing solutions using Actimize, Java/J2EE, SQL, and related technologies.
- Test and approve software solutions, configurations, and customizations.
- Analyze and summarize development and service issues.
- Utilize engineering tools for configuration management and debugging.
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform root-cause analysis and define corrective actions.
- Mentor less experienced engineers.
- Estimate effort and contribute to design discussions.
- Document solutions with clear diagrams and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML, XSL, and Web Services/APIs.
- Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools like MS Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Pro-active and team-oriented approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
