Base Salary
$97k - $121k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business problems and design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud deployments.
- Research technology landscapes and architect Industrial IoT products, services, and cloud components across AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and industry experts to develop end-to-end architectures and cloud differentiators.
- Architect data-processing pipelines, machine-learning systems, and big-data algorithms.
- Implement and test portions of proposed architectures as project requirements dictate.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and create new cloud business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of industry experience in cloud services development.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, databases, and visualization systems, with the ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
- Knowledge of cloud and distributed-systems principles including load balancing, networking, scaling, in-memory versus disk storage, and multi-tenancy.
- Experience with large-scale and big-data methods to reduce cost and improve performance.
- Hands-on experience architecting, designing, and building distributed cloud-based software systems.
- Experience with go-to-market strategies and creating new cloud business.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
