Base Salary
$161k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy quality-control tooling and pipelines for pseudo-labeled data.
- Provide statistical support and report on pseudo-label quality, coverage, and pipeline health.
- Select and curate secondary data for online model training and support the ML data delivery system.
- Improve pipeline throughput, quality, and reliability across the pseudo-labeling and data delivery stack.
- Define and implement ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance for large datasets supporting analytics and ML workflows.
- Develop tools, services, algorithms, documentation, deployment standards, and data-quality guidelines.
- Lead projects, guide less experienced team members, and provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
- Evaluate technical improvements, identify bottlenecks, and improve productivity, flow times, and operational reliability.
- Produce information products that improve data visualization and accessibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field plus typically 6 or more years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus typically 3 or more years of experience.
- Familiarity with offline perception stacks and how pseudo-labeled data is produced.
- Strong software engineering background building and operating data pipelines and services at scale.
- Statistical analysis and reporting skills with the ability to turn data-quality findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with MLOps, ML frameworks, experiment tracking, model registries, ML metrics, and evaluation or quality processes.
- Experience with Parquet data processing using tools such as PyArrow, Daft, or Pandas.
- Proficiency in Python software development, VDI and cloud-based development environments, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
- Experience with distributed data processing or ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Lightning, or Ray.
- Large-scale data delivery systems and pseudo-labeling experience are bonuses.
- Ability to work independently, drive alignment, own technical solutions, guide consensus, and mentor engineers.
