Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a self-service developer platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity and supports deployment, monitoring, and application optimization.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native infrastructure with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, automation, and reusable development templates.
- Apply fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scaling practices to improve application reliability and resilience.
- Improve platform operations and observability, monitor platform health, and proactively resolve incidents.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to understand needs and promote simple, impactful cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- At least five years of production experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience automating workflows and CI/CD pipelines and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
- Demonstrated ownership of platform issues and long-term scalability, resilience, and reliability improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning in cloud-native tools, technologies, and practices.
