Responsibilities
- Build machine learning solutions across the research and product development lifecycle.
- Own projects from data preprocessing and exploration through ML algorithm and pipeline development, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Plan work and lead software engineers delivering machine learning products and solutions.
- Design and develop scalable machine learning products and software systems.
- Partner with research and product teams to deliver ML products.
- Apply software engineering and data best practices to build robust, large-scale ML systems.
- Provide documentation, design decisions, and technical advisory support.
Requirements
- Experience building modular, robust, and scalable ML or data software systems in Python or a similar language.
- Experience leading a team of engineers through the full project delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working across the research and product lifecycle from prototyping to production.
- Exposure to distributed computing frameworks and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing methods, coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- Experience with data science tooling and deep learning frameworks is a plus.
