Base Salary
$133k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and review project deliverables for onshore and offshore development team members.
- Design, build, maintain, and document complex enterprise-scale digital platforms and architectures.
- Review business requirements and technical analysis to develop implementation approaches in consultation with Solution and Enterprise Architects.
- Lead code reviews, maintain code quality, and ensure appropriate unit test coverage.
- Perform software development and system administration tasks as needed.
- Provide input to management on developer and analyst performance reviews and hiring or promotion decisions.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support and resolve escalated IT issues.
- Review application performance metrics and advise development teams on enhancements.
- Oversee the development, configuration, coding, testing, and debugging of complex software.
- Develop and promote operating procedures, policies, architecture standards, and continuous improvements for software development and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, and/or 10 years of related experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience focused on web and mobile technologies, including highly transactional, mission-critical multi-user systems.
- Demonstrated mastery of software development practices covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming methodologies and eCommerce application development, including optimization and A/B or multivariate testing.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, cloud architectures, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
- Advanced proficiency with JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Bootstrap or Material Design, CSS3, HTML5, CSS preprocessing, frontend build tools, JavaScript testing frameworks, Git, Jenkins, code analysis tools, and related web development technologies.
- Experience consuming RESTful web services, optimizing web performance, integrating with Drupal or other content management systems, and using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Ability to demonstrate accountability, sound decision-making, analytical thoroughness, and clear communication.
