Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services in Rust and Go for real-time edge computing solutions.
- Develop messaging and connectivity capabilities using MQTT for device communication and data flow.
- Own features across architecture, development, deployment, production support, testing, and reliability.
- Create APIs and integrations connecting field devices with cloud-based services and applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain code, tests, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end product quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Rust and/or Go.
- Extensive hands-on experience with MQTT and real-time messaging systems.
- Proven expertise designing and deploying microservices in edge environments.
- Ability to own solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Professional English communication skills for collaboration and technical documentation.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to take end-to-end ownership.
