Base Salary
$128k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and data pipelines supporting clinical workflows and real-time data exchange.
- Drive application-platform architecture in alignment with team capabilities and the future product roadmap.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, infrastructure, clinical, QA, and regulatory teams.
- Uphold engineering standards through code review, testing, integration, and quality improvements.
- Mentor teammates and share technical knowledge.
- Support platform reliability, data integrity, compliance, validation expectations, and inspection readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least 5 years of full lifecycle software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building Python applications with FastAPI or Django.
- Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Demonstrated AWS cloud-platform experience.
- Ability to handle complex tasks, learn quickly, collaborate with distributed teams, work autonomously, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts and attend client-facing meetings.
- Preferred: advanced degree in a related technical field.
- Preferred: healthtech experience with HL7, HL7 FHIR, or DICOM.
- Preferred: experience with React, Vue, or equivalent modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and deploying and monitoring VPNs.
Benefits
- Hybrid position based in Boston, Massachusetts.

- Expected base salary range is $127,500–$195,500 annually.
