Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support robust and scalable software capabilities across the Manufacturing and Supply Chain product suite.
- Own feature delivery from technical analysis and design through implementation, automated testing, documentation, and production support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and Agile teams on requirements, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and improve reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in SAFe planning, refinement, demonstrations, and Inspect and Adapt events.
- Mentor developers, share product and technical knowledge, and promote consistent engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise or industrial software.
- Strong experience with C#/.NET or comparable object-oriented technologies, APIs, and relational databases.
- Ability to design maintainable solutions, diagnose complex defects, and deliver high-quality production code.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, version control, and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to translate product requirements and customer workflows into technical designs and incremental deliverables.
- Strong collaboration, communication, facilitation, technical writing, and problem-solving skills in English.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, microservices, containers, telemetry, modern front-end frameworks, or scaled Agile frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, planning and scheduling, refinery or petrochemical workflows, mathematical modeling, or optimization.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical feature delivery is preferred.
