Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, services, components, APIs, utilities, and automation across desktop, web, and cloud environments.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
- Develop software using C#, C++, and other appropriate programming or scripting languages.
- Design and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to support software quality and regression prevention.
- Develop and support applications and services in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Use Git and Perforce, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL database technologies according to application and product architecture needs.
- Leverage and critically validate AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, code review, refactoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders on technical solutions and complex issues.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and Agile development practices.
- Provide technical guidance and share software development best practices with less-experienced developers.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production software.
- Strong proficiency in C# and/or C++, object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience independently designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex software components and features.
- Understanding of software architecture and the ability to translate product and technical requirements into effective designs.
- Experience developing desktop and/or web applications, services, and APIs.
- Experience deploying software in cloud environments, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Experience with unit, integration, automated testing, debugging, defect resolution, CI/CD, and build automation.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI-generated code and recommendations for correctness, security, performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and Perforce and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies and Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
