Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reliable backend services and architecture for Yoodli’s platform.
- Own high-scale technical challenges across analytics, data, search, infrastructure, monitoring, cost management, security, and scaling.
- Design secure, maintainable, right-sized solutions that support user and business outcomes.
- Establish broad technical ownership and expertise while improving engineering quality and system design.
- Help define technical strategy and build foundational systems in collaboration with engineering, product, and founding teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience shipping production code.
- Strong backend capabilities with end-to-end ownership of services and experience delivering in fast-moving environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Seattle, Washington three days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- Strong communication, collaboration, customer-centric thinking, code quality, and system design skills.
- Extra credit includes experience with NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, security, and compliance.
