Base Salary
$78k - $85k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and maintain web application features across ReactJS front-end and Python/FastAPI back-end layers.
- Build and maintain validated, versioned, error-handled APIs with OpenAPI documentation.
- Develop responsive and accessible interfaces in accordance with Section 508 requirements.
- Implement PostgreSQL data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures.
- Package applications with Docker and support deployment of containerized workloads to AWS.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests using pytest, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Maintain API documentation, data model diagrams, architecture decision records, and developer guides.
- Work in a trunk-based development workflow using incremental changes, short-lived branches, and feature flags.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack software development experience in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Sufficient familiarity with AWS services to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline concepts and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Experience developing applications in a federal or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Section 508 web accessibility standards.
- Public Trust Clearance is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
