Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, maintain, and document reliable .NET software components throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Own technically demanding platform components and ensure they are resilient, maintainable, scalable, and production-ready.
- Apply sound engineering judgment across architecture, design, implementation, testing, and operational concerns.
- Design and deliver API-driven service-oriented or microservice architectures and production ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, event-driven architectures, and containerised deployments.
- Support live production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and improve reliability, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with trading, product, architecture, infrastructure, and partner technology teams.
- Contribute to test automation, observability, secure coding, CI/CD, release management, and software lifecycle improvements.
Requirements
- Expert command of C# and .NET/.NET Core with strong object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and clean architecture knowledge.
- Substantial experience designing, developing, and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful production services.
- Advanced knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming, performance optimisation, and distributed system design.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modelling, performance considerations, and operational support.
- Practical experience with Docker and modern deployment approaches.
- Experience designing and delivering service-oriented or microservice architectures.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and behaviour-driven testing using tools such as NUnit, Moq, and Cucumber.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as RabbitMQ, TIBCO, or SignalR.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and version control tools such as Git and TeamCity.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and supporting live production systems.
- Advanced English is required; Spanish is a plus.
