Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions across major portions of team systems while balancing scalability, performance, security, and other functional and non-functional requirements.
- Deliver features across requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Participate in code reviews and coach teammates on producing high-quality, maintainable code.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and drive permanent fixes that improve reliability and operational processes.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to understand business needs and deliver customer value.
- Contribute to backend services, ML model deployment, driver-facing user experiences, and API integrations with third-party carriers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
