Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Develop AI-driven applications integrating machine learning components and automation features.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and four years of software engineering or related experience, or six years of such experience.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation.
- Strong experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and software design patterns.
- Experience conducting system design reviews and driving engineering excellence through data-driven decision-making.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a related field and two years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred knowledge includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
Benefits
- Annual salary range is $143,000.00-$286,000.00, with additional performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.
