Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of security architecture across cloud infrastructure and corporate systems.
- Own and maintain security architecture standards and secure design patterns.
- Conduct security architecture reviews for new systems and document implementation guidance.
- Drive threat modeling and architectural risk assessments for strategic initiatives.
- Define and validate cloud security control expectations and validate adoption.
- Influence detection and response architecture to improve visibility and response effectiveness.
- Partner with various teams to ensure consistent security controls across domains.
- Create clear architecture documentation and communicate security tradeoffs effectively.
- Mentor security practitioners and promote consistent adoption of security patterns.
- Demonstrate an AI-forward mindset by using AI tools to enhance security workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6–7+ years of hands-on experience in information security or related roles.
- Experience leading security architecture decisions for cloud and corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Practical experience in identity and access management, endpoint security, and data protection.
- Ability to independently assess risk and define security control objectives.
- Experience balancing security risk reduction with delivery speed and usability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience in a SaaS or cloud-first organization.
