Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, high-throughput systems handling large amounts of data for client documentation, reporting, and tax withholding.
- Contribute to distributed caching, concurrent processing, complex matching algorithms, Forms Engine, and Data Lake implementations.
- Design and implement user workflows using BPMN notation.
- Manage project deliverables, requirements, testing cycles, UAT, production implementation, and change management.
- Develop resilient distributed systems using service-oriented architecture paradigms.
- Perform memory, thread, and CPU profiling and process analysis using JProfiler, VisualVM, jMap, jStack, and jConsole.
- Manage regulatory deliverables and collaborate with global technology and user teams on tax requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java development experience.
- At least 1 year of service-oriented architecture development experience.
- Knowledge of web UI technologies including React and Angular.
- Familiarity with Spring Framework.
- Strong database skills with DB2, Sybase IQ, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of BPMN modeling and design.
- At least 1 year of experience implementing automated testing with JUnit, FitNesse, Karate, or similar tools.
- Financial services or industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS and Apache Kafka is preferred.
