Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, improve, and maintain automation frameworks and reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, and automated validation processes.
- Develop and execute automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Track testing metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, coverage, and deployment risks.
- Develop automated testing tools and processes, update them for efficiency and accuracy, and perform backend/database programming when required.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, developers, business subject matter experts, testers, users, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous deployment practices, acceptance criteria, automation backlogs, technical documentation, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience with test automation.
- 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Ability to analyze software requirements, design automation solutions, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, automated validation processes, and functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Ability to work with development teams and business or client stakeholders to understand requirements and product backlogs.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to document automation processes, test cases, debug data, and performance reviews according to quality standards.
- Knowledge of software development practices, design patterns, industry standards, and accepted coding practices.
