Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support AWS cloud-based infrastructure and Linux systems.
- Configure and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for shared systems.
- Provide architecture guidance and recommendations for new AWS solutions.
- Document cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, procedures, and architecture diagrams.
- Develop scripting, automation, reporting, and infrastructure processes for shared systems.
- Support development teams with cloud troubleshooting and daily systems operations.
- Implement AWS security and compliance best practices.
- Analyze and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost savings.
- Build and test prototypes of new AWS services and features.
- Participate in cloud architecture planning and cloud strategy development.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and Linux systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expert knowledge of AWS cloud technologies and architecture principles, including security and compliance.
- Strong AWS CLI or SDK scripting experience on Linux or Windows platforms.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Knowledge of source control, automated deployments, network fundamentals, containerization, performance testing, monitoring, and AWS disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with AWS application workloads and resources such as EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification or equivalent is desired.
- Strong Git experience, communication skills, troubleshooting ability, independent work capability, and ability to pass a background check are desired or required as applicable.
