Base Salary
$99k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate, scale, and improve SaaS production platforms across distributed environments.
- Design highly available solutions targeting up to 99.999% availability.
- Develop and maintain multi-region disaster recovery strategies.
- Build automation, tools, and scripts to improve deployment efficiency and operational workflows.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability to identify and prevent issues proactively.
- Own system performance, availability, and scalability for customer-facing services.
- Analyze system behavior and performance data to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
- Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lasting remediation.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience supporting and operating SaaS production systems in DevOps or SRE roles.
- Experience designing highly available systems with uptime targets up to 99.999%.
- Expertise developing disaster recovery strategies across multiple regions.
- Expertise managing distributed production systems that directly serve customers.
- Experience handling incidents, managing on-call operations, and conducting root cause analysis.
