Base Salary
$153k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Measure and maintain the uptime of services supporting autonomous vehicle software testing and hardware validation.
- Design, deploy, operate, support, automate, and continuously improve engineering services.
- Oversee and collaborate with teams to improve the stability, accuracy, and usability of robot testing platforms.
- Work with large-scale data processing pipelines and compute-intensive CPU and GPU workloads.
- Build resilient infrastructure, system-level automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability instrumentation, dashboards, APIs, backend services, and full-stack applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting production services, participating in on-call rotations, and performing SRE responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Experience building and managing infrastructure services.
- Experience with system-level automation, resilient infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building observability stacks, instrumentation, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana dashboards.
- Bonus: Linux system administration, kernel troubleshooting, device-driver development, continuous deployment tools, release management, Buildkite, Bazel, Pytest, Terraform, Ansible, and Salt.
