Responsibilities
- Understand and challenge customer requirements, discuss solutions, and implement chosen solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs for SimCorp Dimension.
- Build high-performance and scalable applications.
- Test and support implemented solutions.
- Improve system architecture, maintainability, performance, build times, and development effectiveness.
- Contribute to cloud modernization and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate within a 5–7-person agile team and take ownership of results.
- Use dedicated innovation time to experiment with technologies and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Experience with or willingness to learn C# and .NET development.
- Ability and interest in learning additional technologies such as APL.
- Knowledge of building high-performance, scalable applications.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience with cloud technologies; Azure Service Bus and streaming APIs are advantageous.
- A background in IT education or another relevant background is acceptable.
- Practical experience with financial instruments and financial investment systems is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to take ownership, collaborate effectively, learn new skills, and continually improve processes and solutions.
