Responsibilities
- Define, develop, validate, and automate network-management features.
- Design and implement backend software features on schedule and with high quality.
- Understand customer functionality needs and present solutions in a meaningful and efficient way.
- Collaborate with product management, cross-functional teams, and technical marketing engineers.
- Build quality code that serves customer needs.
- Mentor and guide team members on code quality and system design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 1–5 years of experience.
- 4–8 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Ruby on Rails, or Go.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Preferred: experience mentoring and guiding team members on code quality and system design.
- Preferred: exposure to using LLMs and AI agents for coding.
- Preferred: experience with containerization and DevOps techniques for deploying solutions to Kubernetes or cloud environments.
- Preferred: networking experience and a record of building quality code for customer needs.
