Base Salary
$151k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new features for The Trade Desk’s real-time bidding software.
- Improve the quality of existing software.
- Design, build, and deliver software from inception to production.
- Drive complex changes involving multiple components across the bidding infrastructure.
- Deliver quality changes, including automated tests and monitoring.
- Validate changes as part of a regular release process.
- Participate in hiring activities and mentorship within the team.
- Conduct technical interviews and collaborate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Working knowledge of soft real-time distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, C, C++.
- Experience with software development code editors like Visual Studio or Rider.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
- Ability to work in large scale code bases with ambiguous goals.
- Understanding of operating systems fundamentals.
- Experience profiling and analyzing memory dumps for optimization.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or similar RDBMS.
