Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Redux Toolkit, and Vite.
- Build features for data visualization platforms and portals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Develop, maintain, and test RESTful APIs for data processing and handling.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues.
- Write automated tests and contribute to testing strategies and continuous improvement.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate development while maintaining human oversight.
- Stay current with full-stack web development trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
- At least 2 years of professional full-stack web development experience.
- Proficiency with React, Redux or Redux Toolkit, and Vite.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend technologies.
- Some experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with Node.js or other backend technologies.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency writing automated tests; Vitest and React Testing Library experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, algorithmic, and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with MapboxGL, Leaflet.js, or OpenLayers.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, Material UI, monorepos, WCAG 2.2, AWS, relational databases, SQL, Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Ability to collaborate with design teams on user experience and UX iteration.
