Base Salary
$182k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features for the cloud-based execution platform powering HackerOne’s AI security agent, Hai.
- Build agent execution frameworks, memory services, RAG services, and observability systems.
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code and ChatGPT Enterprise to improve coding, documentation, on-call response, and customer escalation workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Security Research, and Customer Success to translate customer needs into engineering requirements and deliverables.
- Develop secure APIs connecting AI models, internal services, and third-party systems.
- Use metrics, evaluation data, and telemetry to validate model behavior and improve system performance.
- Design scalable solutions for complex distributed-system and security problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience implementing distributed-system features in production-grade AI or ML systems, including integrating LLMs or generative AI models into applications.
- Familiarity with model deployment workflows, evaluation techniques, or MLOps concepts.
- Understanding of responsible AI development and basic AI safety considerations.
- Experience with cloud AI/ML services such as AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML is preferred.
- Experience with Agentic AI Ops or MLOps is preferred.
- Exposure to agentic frameworks such as ReAct, AutoGen, LangChain, or Semantic Kernel is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, or React for integrating AI capabilities into existing systems is preferred.
- Candidates must be able and willing to work onsite once per week and be located within approximately 50 miles of an applicable office.
- Visa or work-permit sponsorship is not available; employment is contingent on a background check.
